Time..

When dreams decide to go away
and refuse to come back
leaving you in a state
like, they can't be "back" to you -
as they have never been with.

When dreams decide to stand still
as time crosses them by -
and they refuse to proceed;
saying, ".. we've reached the destination..
like, we have nowhere else to go with you."

When dreams decide to ask you to leave
and no matter how much you try to cling -
onto it, it just stays there - facing away;
and time drags your body;
and the body knows - everything.

The body knows, it is the time.
When dreams decide to refuse to lay eggs,
inside your mind, and brain cells,
and whatever they call it -
that, it is the final stage.

The final stage to take a snap
of that - looking away, stagnant dreams.
So that the rest of your body can have it.
Even if you decide to stay -
with the footprints of your dreams, and say, "Goodbye".
